MawMaw Would be Proud
This post is in honor of my grandmother's birthday. I started this quilt as an experiment to see how it would turn out. It is a compilation of the fabrics I used in smocking dresses over the years. What's really cool is that when I started working on it again, I noticed the name of the pattern was "Trip Around the World". I thought how perfect! No question now whether or not it was meant for Julianna. Just one more example of how God is knitting everything together!

Suzanne, what a beautiful way to honor Mother on her birthday! Yes, she would be very proud, as I am. I can't wait to see the finished quilt. Julianna is going to love it.
