Christmas Eve

Well, it's finally here...Christmas Eve. Mommy and Matilyn are a little under the weather, but spirits in our household are high. Julianna can hardly wrap her mind around Santa coming. These 25 days of Christmas have seemed like years to her. After a family dinner at Chuck and Janet's, feeding the reindeer, sitting for a family portrait, reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas", singing carols and hearing reindeer bells outside, Matilyn was the first to fall asleep in Julianna's bed! We are still chuckling over that. She, needless to say, is taking to heart the necessity of being asleep for Santa to come. Julianna finally drifted off to sleep and my thoughts are with her. This wait has thrown her into every mood imaginable. But after arriving home tonight, she relaxed and settled in. Here are a few preview pictures of our festivities...
